Design / Build : Overview
The concept of design / build is not a new one. In reality, this concept goes back thousands of years to the days of the Greek Empire, and is still the primary method of non-residential construction in most of Europe and Japan.
There are many good reasons this is so. Below you will find a brief description of the design / build process, and some of the tangible benefits of using this approach.
We continually guarantee satisfaction of our design and installation to ensure an effortless transition from construction to occupancy.
Design / Build differs significantly from "standard" construction practices in that it affords the owner a single source of responsibility for all aspects of their project. Instead of forming a consultant team to develop a set of construction documents, work through the competitive bidding process, awarding contracts, the inevitable requests for information and change orders, cost overruns, schedule impacts, and in some cases, litigation to settle disputes, the design / build approach removes these elements from the project.
