Engineering + Detailing Services
3D Capabilites:
Our engineering and detailing team utilized the latest versions of various design and fabrication software to create both 2d and 3d drawings:
- AutoCad – Primarily used for creating 2d permit drawings, record drawings and creating details
- M.A.P. CadDuct and CadMech – Used for creating 3d fabrication drawings, trade coordination, in addition to producing spool sheets and reports for amterial procurement and fabrication
- Autodesk Revit – Used for creating 3d design drawings
- Autodesk Navis – Used to merge propietary design and fabrication software to facilitate inter-trade clash detection
The three processes for creating 3d drawings:
- Plans and spec – Consultant drawings are reviewed and then redlined with optimized routings and elevations prior to be drawn in our software
- Design assist – Similar to P/S process. Depending on percentage of completion of design, a fill in the blank exercise usually occurs
- Design build – Engineers work hard hand and hand with detailers throughout the process to create construction ready drawings at the design stage
Our full staff of engineering professionals and support staff, including CAD operators can quickly produce cost effective designs.
